I've
designed this
adoption scrapbook keepsake album for parents
or those waiting to adopt, as a way to record those precious
moments-- from "home-study
stresses," "the
day we got the call," "driving
home at last," to "adoption
day/court day." And by choosing individual
transparencies to add to the actual book one can make a
book personally your own.
My
husband and I were blessed to adopt a newborn baby boy in
Jan 2003. I looked endlessly for a baby book that told about
our joyous adoption process, but couldn't
find
one that really told the story of our child and his adoption.
And how could we? Every child who is adopted has a unique
story that is completely his or her own. Whether you met
the birthmom or did
not, rather you found out through a phone call or you received
a photo in the mail... every adoption has it's roller coasters
of emotions of joy, experiences and sometimes even fears.
I hope
that you find our adoption transparency overlays --and the
albums with 20 overlays too-- the perfect answer to help
you create your child's "baby book," "life
book" or "adoption scrapbook." Add whatever
pages you want, when you want, by just positioning your
photos and journaling for a book you will be excited to
show off to friends and family... but more importantly,
the perfect 8"x8" book to hold along with your
child as you read the most important story to them of all...
one of their life and how they blessed your family.
And
you don't even have to be a "scrap-booker!" (Because
even if you want to, it can be hard to find the time, right?)
