HOW
IT WORKS: (Yes, these instructions come with your transparency
too!)
- Take
an 8" x 8" piece of paper and lay your transparency
on top. You can buy colorful sheets in bulk at your local
craft store. (Our books come with paper already in them.)
- Decide
what photos you want to use and if you want to crop them
or adhere them to a colored paper so it has a border (such
as cardstock).
- Decided
what you would like to journal in the space provided. It's
helpful to use a small piece of cardstock pale in color
for your journaling. This will help your words stand out
against the colored background paper (and it's easy to re-do
if you make a mistake!) You may even want to print out your
words.
- Place
your transparency over the top of your layout to line it
all up. Remove the transparency.
- Attach
all of your photos and journaling notes (or mementos, keepsakes,
etc.) to the back sheet of paper. You can get away with
2-sided tape, but it may not last for years to come. I recommend
checking your local craft or scrapbook store for adhesives
designed for scrapbook use.
- Slide
the paper with photos attached into the 8" x 8"
page-protector and then slide your transparency in on top.
- Voila!
You have an incredible looking, EASY, fast scrapbook for
your adoption journey!
