I also saw Adoptive Families magazine "Clip and
Save" great
article on talking to your 6-8 year olds about adoption.
Hope you're having a great week!
So, first is this month's special

And here is the week's tip!
It's easy to get overwhelmed and feel like you should
be writing down every moment or thought you have for
your album. You may find you are stuck because surely
just the road trip to get your new child is worth about
8 pages. Instead, just focus on the basics.
Remember to write down the big events and how you felt
about them (even in just 3 sentences) and one little
event and how you felt about it in a few sentences (like
the first hug, or the first shopping spree.)
Keep a notebook handy in your car and one in your house
to write down other things as they come to you and you
can add these in later. You don't want your child to
graduate from high school and only have a 5 page book
that leads up through the night he or she came home
with you for the first time.
That's my tip for the week!
Well, you take care--really!
